Presenters: Danielle DuPuis, MLS and Shanice Hackley, LMSW
This session will address supporting LGBTQIA+ stakeholders, including students, parents, and school staff. Participants will come away from this session with concrete resources to meet the social, emotional, and mental well-being of LGBTQIA+ students and strategies for advocacy for individual student needs in the school setting.
This workshop is approved for 2 continuing education units by the DC Health Board of Social Work and the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
