As members of the School Social Work Association of DC, we are highlighting the importance of voting in order to be Facilitators of Change. Calling all school social workers to take action–for each of us to use our voice as voters to influence the direction of our schools, our communities, and our nation.

Are you registered to vote? Have a plan to vote early or on Election Day? Are your friends, family, and acquaintances across the country planning to vote?

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Let’s do this!

Bring an acceptable form of ID. If you don’t bring an acceptable ID, you can instead sign an ID Confirmation Statement.

Same-day registration is a somewhat new option for Virginia voters; the General Assembly approved same-day registration ahead of the 2022 election.
